Features:
BOE’s belief in advocating the local artistry is why we craft our wines from grapes grown in New York. We source our grapes from NYC's closest vineyards on the North Fork of Long Island. Our belief in living with art around you every day is why we offer it to you, both inside and outside the bottle, for an approachable price.

We incorporate the heart of the Brooklyn spirit into our label art, where we showcase contemporary works created by people living and working here. With every vintage, a new artist is featured on each bottling to continually showcase the most current developments in the Brooklyn artisanal scene.

Currently for sale are our inaugural wines, 2005 BOE Chardonnay and 2005 BOE Merlot. In mid-summer 2008, four new wines will be introduced into the portfolio, each with their own featured artists.
About:
Brooklyn Oenology is a winery headquartered on the edge of Williamsburg and Greenpoint neighborhoods. Housed in a converted warehouse, BOE was founded in the spirit of Brooklyn’s artisanal resurgence.

This is Brooklyn; built on a foundation of tradition, industry, and craftsmanship, it now pulses again as it undergoes a renaissance of new identity - the industry of artisanship. Old storefronts, factories, and warehouses, the places where those before us offered their trade and craft skills to build this city, have a rejuvenated purpose where today’s artisans of all kinds now occupy them.

Brooklyn Oenology brings together the borough’s heritage with the celebration of it’s evolution and its continued influence as a cultural and economic force in one of the modern world’s greatest centers.
